FIRST CLASS SINGING LESSONS & CHOIRS in VAUXHALL & RYE
wall of sound
singing ensemble
This wonderful group of enormously talented singers were the musical highlight of The Silver Line’s first Carols By Candlelight event set in London’s oldest surviving church St. Bartholomew the Great. They could not have delivered the selection of seasonal music more beautifully.

WHO WE ARE!
wall of sound
singing ensemble
In December 2011 our singing school got together for a Christmas concert in the wonderful Saltcote Place in Rye. We formed a very informal vocal ensemble for this concert and our audience (and Director and singers!) were so bowled over by the sound that we then formed our singing ensemble and called ourselves THE WALL OF SOUND, for that is what we were!
"This choir is really something special" Tony Perry
"The Wall Of Sound left not a dry eye in the house! Their Hallelujah is the best I have heard!"
Since we began we have performed in many concerts from a supporting the comic Milton Jones to standing room only St Patrick's Day bashes to a more serene soiree in the wildness of Romney Marsh's medieval churches to a very special Carol concert for Esther Rantzen's charity Silver Line at the wonderful St Bartholomew the Great, singing at the Southbank in the Chorus festival and several performances at one of Europe's most prestigious choral festival Cork International Choral Festival. We try to match our vocal eclecticism with performing in interesting and atmospheric settings when we can. We have a great community of singers and always are keen to welcome more singers to our clan.
This all adds to the fun!
We Perform Lots & in
Lots of Interesting Places
Our ensemble is an unusual one in that we tailor make our song repertoire around the very varied members of the choir both vocally and personally, writing harmonies and solos in relation to the individual members of the choir. Therefore our ensemble perform a wide range of repertoire from Sea shanty to Gospel, to Irish Folk to Pop to Klezmer to Mozart!
